Undertale painting

My first undertale painting. I'll probably do some more some other time. I'm kind of starting to get the hang of it on colors for skin and some what for hair, but I've got tons of improvement to do if i'll do clothes.

Link behind a pillar

I was not satisfied at all with this one. Here I got to test out my painting skills without trying to improve anything. I can see that I've gotten better at colouring faces and hair. But I'm still having problems with actually making poses, hands, legs, arms and so on. Even if I'm not satesfied, i'm happy to see that I've improved over the last past weeks. By only focusing on improving my colouring skills, i've been able to control shadows better. Earlier i never saturated the shadows, but lately i've been putting some saturation on them and I can see improvement. I'm looking forward to improve some more in the future.
PS: Did I mention that I'm not happy at all with this one?

Contrast study

I've always wanted to try make a picture where the contrast is pretty strong. I think I should aim for this style in the future. Although the coloring was very difficult because sometimes I'm not sure to use saturated colors or desurated colors. Anyhow, this style would be very good along with custom made brushes! I'm looking forward to do this style again but with other types of brushes.

Coloring improvement attempt

Today (and also lately) I've been only focusing on improving my coloring. I'm not happy with the "line art" from this picture. I tried to do it as fast as possible to spend more time on coloring. This took me around  1 hour and 20 minutes. The lineart-sketch took me around 20 minutes, but I tried to go for 1 hour on the picture...but it wen't over abit. Anyhow, it's no excuse because I should be able to do the line art better. However, there's two people in the picture so the time to create this doubles. I'm not that quite happy with the coloring, but I feel that i'm able to have more control than before. It's interessting how saturated skins usually are.  For some strange reason the shadows on the skin are red and saturated. Also something I've been taking notice of lately is that the make up people use affect the colouring too. It's like I have to adapt to the make up people used.
When it comes to the guy's eyes, i'm note sure what I could have done more to give them more dimension. I painted his eyes incorrectly, it's like they're flat eyes but the human eye is more round. I don't know if i will blame my colouring skills on that or my lineart skills. Maybe both. I feel that I have more control of women's hair nowdays, but men's hair is still a problem for me.

Bromance

I was quite happy with guy on the left, but I don't know why I feel like I painted the right guy so incorrectly. I totaly need constructive critism on this one.

40 min practice.

Here I tried to see how much I could do in 40 minutes. I really don't like to paint more than 1 hour.

This was some practice I did for today. I don't know why I couldn't get  the right skin color. Oh well.
